Representing Christ and engaging the church to correctly represent him is my passion. The world needs to see truly devout and well balanced Christians who would correctly and biblically represent God’s love to them. I served as a youth pastor for 13 years serving the youth in Southern California.

Although my passion is still with youth I am called and committed to build up the ministry to connect three generations in the church to continue the spiritual legacy to the new generation of believers.

My studies took place at L.I.F.E. Pacific College (B.A. in biblical languages), Talbot Theological Seminary (M. Div. in Christian Ed.), and Fuller Theological Seminary (Th.M. in Cultural Studies. present).

I am married to the love of my life, Sunni, and we are the proud parents of Haven Christian Kim.

Pastor Stephen Chong has certain unmistakable passions in his life: God, Family, and Great Food.

In his passion for God, he loves to preach God’s Word, evangelize to the lost and hurting, and wholeheartedly invest into leadership development of God’s people.

In his passion for his family, he adores his better half (his stunningly beautiful wife of noble character—these are his own words) Ann, the only other woman in his life--apart from his wife--his lovely daughter, Karis, and his handsome, precocious son, Colin.

In his passion for Great Food, what more can be said? He loves to eat; he has a really anointed gift of eating; and he thanks God everyday for the 10,000 taste buds in his mouth. He also loves to run—so that he can eat as well as trying to take good care of his health. He studied his B.S. at the University of Maryland College Park and his M. Div. at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

His vision and purpose: to pastor and preach God’s Word to people from every race, nation, tribe, and tongue—in other words, a church that will reflect the awesome diversity of God’s family and the beautiful unity of the church of Jesus Christ.

Growing up in New York City, Pastor Mary recieved her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from New York University, and then her Masters in Biblical Counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary.

Her family still resides back in New York.
